Dear Parents,
In the first quarter marking period, I had given my grades for your children to their homeroom teachers. Their grades that I gave were averaged in together with the home room teacher's grades. If you have any concerns about their grades concerning what we have done in class, please let me know either by phone call or email. Thank you and have a great day.

Dear Parents.
I have given the children my progress reports out today on September 27, 2013 as I was at a workshop all day yesterday. I would like to say that I have only been with your children for the last 2-3 weeks, so I do not really feel comfortable saying that your children are accomplished in alot of academic areas. I am going by what I have observed and what they have done for me. If your child has been rated as a level "2", do not worry about that. That is fine for me right now, as we are still getting to know each other and I am starting to be able to see what their strengths and weaknesses are at this time. That just means that your child has shown those skills but I feel I need to look at them closer and need more time with them to be able to say that they are accomplished in a certain area. We will be working on these skills throughout the entire year, so I feel confident that your child will definitely be accomplished if not distinquished by the end of the year.
I have enjoyed working with your children and hope they have been enjoying coming to the AIG class. I feel we will gain growth in alot of academic areas and we are planning some fun projects to complete in using our skills and expertise. Again if you have any concerns, please feel free to call me at either Walnut Cove or London Elementary Schools or send me an email. My email address is right there beside my website on the staff section of the schools websites.
The copy of the progress report is yours to keep. All I ask is for you to sign the envelope and have your child to bring the envelope back to me. Thank you and have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Ms. Zdan
